Family campout: The city of Chino Hills will host a new event, a Mccoy Family Campout, 3p.m. May 20 through 10 a.m. May 21 at the Mccoy Equestrian & Recreation Center. Event features games, activities, hiking, a movie, barbecue dinner, continental breakfast and more. Registration is $25per person and is available in person only at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250Peyton Drive, through May 5, or until the event reaches capacity. Adult Easter egg hunt: Chino Hills residents age 18and older are invited to hunt for eggs and more than $3,000worth of prizes in the third annual Chino Hills Adult Easter Egg-scramble at Chino Hills Community Park, 3280Eucalyptus Ave. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. and the egg hunt begins at 8 p.m. Registration is $16, available at chinohills.org/events and at Chino Hills Community Center, 14250Peyton Drive, and the City Hall Recreation Office, 14000City Center Drive.
Lifestream blood drive: A blood drive is scheduled 9a.m.-1p.m. at Panera Bread, 8055 Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga. Donors a free mini-physical, including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal. Food distribution: Food for Life Ministry offers food 4-6p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at its main warehouse, 4712Cheyenne Way, Chino. It also offers food there 9 a.m.-noon on the Saturdays when it is not holding food distributions elsewhere. Writers’ group: The San Dimas Writers Group meets 1 p.m. Wednesdays at San Dimas Senior Center, 201E. Bonita Ave., San Dimas. The group is open to published writers and anyone else interested in joining a community of writers. There is no cost to join.

Pop-up City Hall: The city of Chino Hills brings a pop-up City Hall to 99 Ranch Market, 2959 Chino Ave. 8-11a.m. City staff and officials from the city, Police Department and Chino Valley Fire District will be there to answer questions, and general information about city services and programs will be available. There will also be giveaways, while supplies last. Information: 909-364-2610
