The intent of these two (2) separate Requests for Proposals is to identify qualified Real Time Captioning Services firm(s) and Interpreting Services firm(s) that can provide the DISTRICT with the related professional services.
RFP documents are available upon request by emailing RCCD Purchasing Department at Bids@rccd.edu . Include the name and number of the RFP packet requesting in the subject line. Firms requesting RFP packets are responsible for requesting to be included on the Plan Holder ’s List. Firms are responsible for confirmation that they have viewed all addenda prior to the RFP deadlines and will be required to acknowledge any issued addenda in their submittal.
Proposals must be received by the District no later than 3:00PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Proposal forms and all required documents as stated in the RFP packet must be submitted via electronic format and sent by email or shared through a file transfer protocol (such as Dropbox or similar) to: Bids@rccd.edu . Include the name and number of the RFP in the subject line of all email correspondence. In addition, for the District’s records, you must submit one (1) hard copy of your proposal with original signatures in a sealed envelope/package, no later than November 17, 2023, and addressed to the District.
Firms can choose to bid on one or both RFP’S. If bidding on both, they must be submitted in separate, clearly labeled packages and email submissions as instructed above.

Pursuant to California Labor Code section 1720 et seq., it shall be mandatory upon CONTRACTOR to whom the Contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under such CONTRACTOR, to pay not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract, including holiday and overtime work as well as employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, and similar purposes.
