Hawaii warms up late to beat UCR

Jovon Mcclanahan had 14 points in Hawaii’s 63-56 victory against UC Riverside late on Saturday.

Hawaii went on a 10-0 run late in the second half and made 18 of 21 free throw attempts overall in the win.

Barrington Hargress led UCR (7-11, 2-4 Big West Conference) with 18 points.

Noel Coleman had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (10-7, 2-3).

Dominique Daniels Jr. scored 19 points and Blondeau Tchoukuieg­no had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead CBU (10-7, 3-3 WAC).

State to escape with a victory in Las Vegas.

Osobor had 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Aggies (16-1, 4-0 Mountain West) to extend their winning streak to 15 games, the longest active one in the nation.

Emanuel Miller’s layup with six seconds left gave TCU a victory over Houston in Fort Worth. Miller led the Horned Frogs (13-3, 2-1 Big 12) with 13 points, with his go-ahead basket were his only points in the second half. J’wan Roberts had a season-high 20 points for Houston (14-2, 1-2).
