The Chargers interviewed Detroit Lions offensive and defensive coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn on Saturday for their coaching vacancy, the 13th and 14th candidates to replace Brandon Staley.

Johnson, Glenn and the Lions face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on today in an NFC Divisional playoff game.

Johnson has been with Detroit since 2019, serving as the Lions’ offensive coordinator for the past two seasons. The Lions were one of the NFL’S top-ranked offensive teams during the 2023 regular season, ranking fifth in points scored and third in yardage while posting a 12-5 record.

Glenn’s résumé also includes stints as an assistant coach with the New Orleans Saints and the Cleveland Browns. He scouted for the New York Jets, starting in 2012. Glenn was a defensive back for 15 seasons in the NFL, including nine with the Jets and was a threetime Pro Bowl selection.

■ The Atlanta Falcons interviewed Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris and Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach and interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady on Saturday for their head coaching vacancy.

Morris, a former Atlanta assistant, is a familiar addition to the team’s list of candidates.

The virtual interviews with Morris and Brady came one day after former longtime New England coach Bill Belichick completed his second interview with the Falcons.

The Falcons also met virtually with Glenn on Friday and are expected to meet with Johnson this weekend.

Before his three seasons with the Rams, Morris served in a variety of roles with Atlanta from 20152020, including the final 11 games of the 2020 season as interim head coach. He posted a 4-7 record.

Morris was 17-31 as Tampa Bay’s coach from 2009-11.

said he is transferring to Iowa.

Proctor, who is from Des Moines, started every game at left tackle for Alabama as a freshman this season.

He told On3.com on Saturday that he committed to play for the Hawkeyes. He had announced his intentions to leave the Crimson Tide on social media on Wednesday.

A number of Alabama players have already transferred or entered the portal since the retirement of coach Nick Saban. Saban was replaced by Kalen Deboer.
