that the Governing Board of the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD) will conduct a public hearing on February 26, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. to consider the adoption of a State Implementation Plan (SIP) Cleanup: rescission of SCAQMD Rule 1122 — Solvent Metal Cleaners (Degreasers), and Rule 1171 – Solvent Cleaning Operations, as they appear in the SIP for the Blythe/palo Verde Valley portion of the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District in Riverside County and to acknowledge that the currently SIP approved MDAQMD Rule 1104 – Organic Solvent Degreasing Operations and Rule 442 – Usage of Solvents, adequately regulate the emissions in question.

will be conducted in the Governing Board Chambers located at the MDAQMD offices 14306 Park Avenue, Victorville, CA 92392-2310 where all interested persons may be present and be heard. Copies of this State Implementation Plan (SIP) Cleanup action, and the Staff Report are on file and may be obtained from the Senior Executive Analyst at the MDAQMD Offices. This action will continue the District’s SIP cleanup activities by requesting the removal of SCAQMD Rules 1122 and 1117 from the Riverside County portion of the District and request acknowledgement that MDAQMD Rules 1104 and 442 are adequate for SIP purposes for this source category within the MDAQMD.
Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) the MDAQMD has determined that a Categorical Exemption (Class 8 – 14 Cal. Code Reg §15308) applies and has prepared a Notice of Exemption for this action.

A public hearing to establish a Conditional Use Permit for a Type 41 ABC license (On-sale General) for the on-premises consumption of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, within an existing 1,200 square-foot restaurant (Tian Yi Sushi) on 0.749-acres of land, located at 2525 S. Grove Avenue within the CN (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district. The project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1, Existing Facilities) of the CEQA Guidelines. The proposed project is located within the Airport Influence Area of Ontario International Airport and was evaluated and found to be consistent with the policies and criteria of the Ontario International Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan; (APN: 1051-321-51)

The Riverside County Planning Department has determined that the above-described application is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
