The Jurupa Unified School District (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for

Project No. 23-24-10PD – WAREHOUSE HVAC PROJECT

(“Project”) at the JUSD Purchasing Department, 4850 Pedley Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 no later than

, per the Purchasing Bid Clock at which time or thereafter said sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for ninety (90) days after the bid opening date.

This project consists of installing five (5) new 5-ton heat pump units (total of 25 tons – electric cooling and heating) that are District provided. All other equipment, components or materials for the project shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor. The units will provide heating and cooling in an existing warehouse for items being stored in the warehouse, and the design set point will be approximat­ely 80°F. New HVAC circuits shall be connected to existing electrical service. Structural scope includes the addition of new 2x blocking / framing to existing roof joists where the new HVAC units are located. New R-19 batt insulation to be installed at underside of roof. Roof pads to be added around new units for maintenanc­e, as well as roof crickets to prevent ponding on roof. Scope includes Demo, Framing, Roofing, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and other miscellane­ous scope as noted. Project is planned to have an approximat­e duration from April 2024 thru late June 2024.
