MOJAVE DESERT AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT

REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR SOLAR INSTALLATION PROJECT

that t he Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (“MDAQMD”) will receive sealed bids for the MDAQMD SOLAR installation (“Project”) at the offices of the MDAQMD no later than March 5, 2024, at 2:00pm, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for ninety (90) Working Days after the bid opening date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

The Project consists generally of installation of 3 solar carports to provide a total of 105.3 KW DC. The Proposed system should provide a 99% electric utility offset. Work on the Project shall be completed within 90 Working Days.

This project should include design, engineering, permitting and planning review fees and associated costs through final inspection, activation and commissioning of the system including installation of transformer (if applicable), Equipment Operation manuals, guides, and instructions, removal and disposal of the pre-existing solar system, removal of nine (9) south trees down to grade not including stump grinding, NEM application from submittal to PTO, responsibility for interconnections to the existing switchgear location, installing all solar arrays and equipment per local and NEC code requirements, and a 10-year workmanship warranty.

The location of Pre-bid Conference will be the Main Lobby. Prospective bidders may also visit the Site by first contacting Laquita Cole or Michelle Powell (at the email noted below). Bids Will NOT be accepted from any Bidder who does not attend the Pre-bid Conference. Bidders shall meet at the facility at the prescribed date and time.
