Catalina (Serna) Martinez was born on February 13, 1940 in Lakeview Ca, and sadly left us on February 17, 2024 at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family.

Catalina (Katy) was born and raised in the small town of Lakeview, on family owned property along with her 8 siblings. After graduating Perris High in 1958, Katy worked in the fields for the local farmers. She later met, fell in love with, and married Frank Martinez in 1962. They moved to Romoland, where they had their two sons. Frank worked for Motte Farms, while Katy enjoyed working at Motte's Romola Farms in the packaging dept.

They remained in Romoland until Frank's passing in 2001. A few years later Katy met and fell in love with Meliton Flores, who remained by her side until her passing.

She is survived by her loving companion Meliton Flores, Her two sons,

Frank (Kristen) Martinez of Lakeview.

Adam (Candace) Martinez of Nuevo.
