MODIFYING THE GLAZE

As soon as the glaze is on I wiped off much of the excess with a paper towel. A lot of paper towels. In the upper half of the canvas I wiped off most of the glaze and left it heavier as I moved down toward the horizon. I used the same technique in the wave and foreground.
