TIP:

I highly recommend that you frequently get up and walk around your setup while painting. This will help you get a three-dimensional sense of the forms. When I was studying drawing and painting, we students would physically feel the forms we were depicting to understand the directions of the planes. I encourage you to do this, too. The tactile sensation really gives you a sculptural sense of the forms
