The left may be right for you
We’ve all noticed that partisan ideology is designated through left-right demarcation. Those identifying with the “right” can naturally speculate that they are of the correct and righteous ideology, not of the wrong and wicked “left” ideology. But has everyone inquired into the authentic inference of that demarcation?
As all know who are engaged with this opinion editorial, we read and write from left to right. And those familiar with picture sequenced comic-strip story progression, as well as with graphically illustrated historical progression from past to present, know that timelines are also presented from left to right.
Thereby the sequential history of mankind’s social development would be graphically documented beginning on the left with families and clans. Progressing time towards the right develops villages and towns. Time progression further develops kingdoms and countries. Present time has developed into imperial nation republics and industrial corporations at the final right of historical social progression.
Contemporary partisan designation reflects this historical social progression. The left is of primary interest to protect and promote the social welfare of individuals and their families. The right is of primary interest to protect and promote republic and corporate power.
Be aware of the partisan influence with immense economic assets that propagates the ideology that individuals are less than valiantly virile citizens when fundamental social and medical securities are sought.
And remember that we all began and will end as individuals. And unless one is independently wealthy, endorsing interests of the left may be right for you.
