The ends do not justify the means

-

The illegally constituted Jan. 6 committee has wrapped up their ABC producer’s “story” as they call it. You may hate the 45th President, you may be transfixed with the accusers as they read stoically from a scripted teleprompter, you may be convinced that the stream of cleverly edited video snippets and witnesses full of third-party hearsay represent the truthful summary of the sad day in America. Quite the “story,” very well produced with your taxpayer contribution.

Now, suspend your opinion and YOU ARE THE DEFENDANT. You face nine prosecutors hand-picked by the leader of the House (the same person that pre-ripped the president’s State of the Union address and tore a legal document in half behind his back while smirking). You are denied constitutionally guaranteed defense representation. You are denied participation, defense witnesses, cross examination, summary judgements, testimony, review and validation of texts and video “evidence” against you. You are called every name in the book by “reporters” reading their teleprompters.

Formally in America, you are presumed innocent until a JURY finds otherwise. Formally in America the media would present a fair and equitable representation of FACT. Formally in America, the two political parties would work together to the benefit of the citizens. That America is now consumed with destroying due process and what’s next? Your free speech rights, rights to privacy and rights to possess a weapon to protect yourself ... from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.

Antifa and BLM rioted and attacked America and President Trump called out the National Guard. Missing from ALL Jan. 6 committee testimony is the failure of the person in charge of House security to heed any warnings and position a properly staffed levels to mitigate and provide a security presence for a large, expected crowd. Standard procedure but it didn’t fit the “optics.” So, what is the real intent of the Jan. 6 “committee”? Someone please enlighten me.
