Filing period for november election ends aug. 12

Danielle M. Sexton, Inyo County Clerk-Recorder, reminds voters that there are several board member positions up for election on Nov. 8 in the following districts:

Municipal

• Bishop City Council Member (two 4-year seats) Board of Education • Board of Education, Area 1 (4-year seat)

school districts

• Big Pine Unified School District Board Member (two 4-year seats)

• Bishop Unified School District Board Member (three 4-year seats)

• Death Valley Unified School District Board Member (three 4-year seats)

• Lone Pine Unified School District Board Member (three 4-year seats)

• Owens Valley Unified School District Board Member (three 4-year seats; one 2-year seat)
