The following is a compilatio­n of informatio­n taken from the daily activities logs at the Bishop Police Department and the Inyo County Sheriff’s Department. Since most cases have yet to be adjudicate­d, all charges should be considered allegation­s.

The latest logs available as of Feb. 8 for the ICSO were through Feb. 6 and through Jan. 28 for the BPD.

Feb. 6

2:15 a.m. – Domestic violence, occurred on Lazy A Drive in Bishop. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

10:18 a.m. – Possible scam, occurred on N. Mt. View in Bishop. Reporting party purchased a bike online for $4,400 and when the bike arrived, it was not the bike advertised. He would like to have options. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

10:27 a.m. – Request Animal Control, occurred at a motel on E. Elm Street in Bishop. Reporting party would like an Animal Control officer to respond to a dog tied to a shopping cart. Dispositio­n: Animal Control handle.

1:49 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Shelly Creek Road in Bishop. Reporting party’s brother is yelling and pounding on the walls, possibly under the influence. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

3:18 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, officer-initiated activity at Inyo County Jail, S. Clay Street, Independen­ce. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

3:34 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred at Big Pine Unified School on S. Main Street in Big Pine. A male subject is causing a problem at the school, he is possibly under the influence and keeps leaving the school and returning; walking southbound from school walking on U.S. Highway 395, jeans and a dark heather gray hoodie. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

6:07 p.m. – Man down, occurred at Nuumu Way in Bishop. A male subject was passed out on the side of the road. Dispositio­n: Medical handle.

10:20 p.m. – Request Animal Control, occurred at McDonald’s in Bishop. Dog tethered to bike rack in front of McDonald’s. Dispositio­n: Animal Control handle.

Feb. 5

2:04 a.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Tu Su Lane in Bishop. Physical confrontat­ion between a mother and daughter. Reporting party advised her mother pushed her. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

4:31 a.m. – Request telephone message, occurred at Tecopa Therapeuti­c Mineral Pools in Tecopa. Five teenagers snuck in to use the pool after hours. Dispositio­n:

10:58 a.m. – Request deputy, occurred on W. Line Street in Bishop. Reporting party advised someone is trying to get through her window, they are trying to force the window open. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

3:01 p.m. – Request deputy, occurred at Wildrose Trail in Death Valley. Male lost on the trail, sounds out of breath. Dispositio­n: Referred To other agency.

4:06 p.m. – Man down, occurred at Nuumu Way on in Bishop. A male subject is down. Dispositio­n: Assisted other agency.

5:07 p.m. – Log entry, occurred on Carmelea Lane in Big Pine. Reporting party was told to call in and document a neighbor dispute. Reporting party said a man is making a threat of burning piles for no reason and making smoke go into the reporting party’s house out of spite. Dispositio­n: Log entry only.

5:35 p.m. – Request telephone message, occurred at Lone Pine Clinic in Lone Pine. Lone Pine clinic is reporting two people urinating behind the building; dark clothes, one adult white male and one adult Hispanic male. They are southbound on Mt. Whitney Drive now and have left the property. Reporting party wants to speak with a deputy. Dispositio­n: Unable to locate.

Feb. 4

11:30 a.m. – Request deputy, occurred at Iris Drive in Aspendell. Reporting party advised someone with a tractor is moving snow into a county road and they have been told to stop; would like to see if deputy can speak with them. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

3:07 p.m. – Request telephone message, occurred on W. Line Street in Bishop. Reporting party advised she is being harassed by her landlord. Reporting party advised she is being told she has to leave today by 5 p.m. and they are going to change locks; they were not notified until last Friday. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

4:04 p.m. – Request deputy, occurred at Reina Road and Mesa Vista. Reporting party was walking a dog and was attacked by another dog. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

5:10 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on N. Jackson Street in Lone Pine. Reporting party advised subjects are squatting in a house next door; reporting party advised they were evicted. Dispositio­n: Arrest made.

Feb. 3

2:50 a.m. – Domestic violence, occurred on S.

Main Street in Lone Pine. Dispositio­n: Arrest made.

8:13 a.m. – Lewd acts with child, officer-initiated activity in Bishop. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

10:33 a.m. – Request telephone message, occurred in Lone Pine. Reporting party said someone has been taking thousands of dollars worth of diesel fuel from multiple rigs. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

4:03 p.m. – Request deputy, occurred at the dirt road between Schabbell and Old Fort Road in Fort Independen­ce. Reporting party advised a man was cutting wood on Los Angeles Department of Water and Power land. Dispositio­n: Informatio­n taken.

6:12 p.m. – Man down, occurred on N. Barlow Lane in Bishop. Reporting party was driving by and reported a male subject lying in the road, now lying by a tree, unknown circumstan­ces, medics en route. Dispositio­n: Assisted other agency.

7:35 p.m. – Request telephone message, occurred at Tombisha Road in Death Valley. Reporting party advised he is trying to move out but his mother won’t let him in the house to do so. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

Feb. 2

8:30 a.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Shelly

Creek Road in Bishop. Subject is outside yelling and banging things. Possibly under the influence. Dispositio­n: Negative contact.

12:42 p.m. – Generic fire call, occurred on Winuba Lane in Bishop. Brush fire. Dispositio­n: Fire department handled.

3:53 p.m. – Burglary, occurred at Airport and Trona Road in Trona. Reporting party advised $40,000 dollars worth of equipment was taken and the locks were cut on the gates. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

Feb. 1

10:31 a.m. – Generic fire call, occurred on N. Willow Lane in Fort Independen­ce. Dispositio­n: Fire department handled.

11:49 a.m. – Request telephone message, occurred on Downey Road in Tecopa. Reporting party advised a trailer was moved onto the property and someone is living in it. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

Jan. 29

12:27 p.m. – Log entry, occurred at the field south of W. Line and east of S. Barlow in Bishop. Dead cow in a field just north of a creek near Sunset. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.
