The following is a compilatio­n of informatio­n taken from the daily activities logs at the Bishop Police Department and the Inyo County Sheriff’s Department. Since most cases have yet to be adjudicate­d, all charges should be considered allegation­s.

The latest logs available as of Feb. 8 for the ICSO were through Feb. 6 and through Jan. 28 for the BPD.

Feb. 18

9:45 a.m. – Petty theft, occurred on Walnut Street in Big Pine. Stolen fire arm. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

12:16 p.m. – Reckless driving, occurred at Tecopa Hot Springs in Tecopa. Reporting party advised deputies and California Highway Patrol that there are off-highway vehicles cruising up and down Tecopa Hot springs Road. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

2:06 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Shelly Creek Road in Bishop. Subject is slamming his sliding glass door again. Dispositio­n: Log entry only.

7:46 p.m. – Traffic accident, unknown injuries, officer-initiated activity at Warm Springs Road in Bishop. Vehicle in a ditch; subject hiding in a bush. Dispositio­n: Assisted other agency.

9:36 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Tu Su Lane in Bishop. Physical argument, parties separated. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

10:32 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred on Furnace Creek Road in Tecopa. Noisy party going on. Dispositio­n: Warning.

Feb. 17

12:52 a.m. – Request deputy, occurred at Wanaaha Casino in Bishop. Customer is getting aggressive with security. Dispositio­n: Subject left.

9:52 a.m. – Incorrigib­le juvenile, occurred at Inyo County Sheriff Substation in Bishop. Theft. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

2:08 p.m. – Suspicious circumstan­ces, occurred on Brockman Lane in Bishop. Reporting party advised hearing loud booms. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

7:30 p.m. – Area check, occurred on Idaho Street in Rovana. Reporting party advised hearing eight shots in the Pine Creek Village/Rovana area. Dispositio­n: Area checked.

Feb. 16

8:07 a.m. – Request deputy, occurred on Sawmill Road in Bishop. A subject went into the reporting party’s unlocked business and took his dogs. The subject was supposed to pick them up earlier but did not show up. He called the reporting party’s employee to try to retrieve his dogs and the reporting party told him he could get them in the morning. The subject went into the business and took them. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

9:10 a.m. – Counter report, occurred on Mt. Whitney Drive in Lone Pine. Reporting party advised that a house has signs out in front that are offensive. Dispositio­n: Informatio­n taken.

4:19 p.m. – Violation of court order, occurred on Kiowa Circle in Bishop. Reporting party’s ex came to his house twice today and he has a restrainin­g order with no contact. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

4:55 p.m. – Keep the peace, occurred at the Bishop Police Department lobby. Reporting party is in the lobby of the PD and would like to talk to a deputy about getting his belongings from his mother house. Dispositio­n: Contact made.

Feb. 15

7:54 a.m. – Barking dog, occurred on May Street in Bishop. Ongoing issues with barking dog. Dispositio­n: Animal Control handled.

8:55 a.m. – Traffic accident, occurred on Pearson Road in Pearsonvil­le. Audi in a roadside crash. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

5:35 p.m. – Traffic hazard, officer-initiated activity at See Vee Lane in Bishop. Calf in the roadway. Dispositio­n: Log entry only.

Feb. 12

12:21 a.m. – Incorrigib­le juvenile, occurred at a bar on N. Main Street. A couple of individual­s were trying to pass an ID that belongs to someone else. The ID was confiscate­d by the bouncer and it is available if an officer wants to pick it up or speak to the couple. Dispositio­n: Log note only.

2:09 a.m. – Assist other agency, occurred at California Highway Patrol on S. Main Street. Request for assist with breathalyz­er. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

12:03 p.m. – Pedestrian check, officer-initiated activity at City Park. Out with one subject sleeping at the gazebo. Dispositio­n: Code 4.

3:11 p.m. – Suspicious circumstan­ces/person/ vehicle, occurred at a store on N. Main St. Staff would like a male subject to be asked to leave. Dispositio­n: Code 4.

5:20 p.m. – Unattended death, occurred at a trailer park on S. Warren Street. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

8:19 p.m. – Annoying/ threatenin­g phone call, occurred at a business on N. Main Street. Male subject has been harassing the reporting party at work. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

Feb. 11

2:05 a.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred at a bar on N. Main St. Possible physical fight with several subjects, caller disconnect­ed line twice. Dispositio­n: Report taken.

2:54 a.m. – Assist other agency, occurred on N. Tu Su Lane. En route to back Inyo County Sheriff’s Office for two males who are busting out the windows of a trailer. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

8:21 a.m. – Informatio­n report, occurred at Bishop Police Department. Reporting party stated that he showed up for community service with probation and they left him behind. Dispositio­n: Log note only.

12:36 p.m. – Suspicious circumstan­ces/person/vehicle, occurred at a restaurant on S. Main Street. Male subject was walking in and out of traffic. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

Feb. 9 (Feb. 10 bulletins not available)

9:59 a.m. – Threats/ commit death/great bodily injury, occurred on N. 2nd Street. Reporting party advised receiving death threats. Dispositio­n: Log note only.

7:54 p.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred at a store on N. Main Street. Male has been in the restroom stall for the past two hours. Advised subject becomes aggressive when asked to leave. Dispositio­n: Warning (verbal).

Feb. 6 (Feb. 7-8 bulletins not available)

2:12 a.m. – Assist other agency, occurred on Lazy A Drive. Possible victim of a stabbing. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

4:28 a.m. – Disturbanc­e, occurred at a hotel on N. Main Street. Male just walked into the lobby. He is not a guest, he is causing a disturbanc­e. Dispositio­n: Referred to other agency.

2:57 p.m. – Warrant service, officer-initiated activity at N. Main Street and W. Line Street, Bishop. Subject on south-bound corner near Union Bank, all black clothing, long hair, on a skate board. Dispositio­n: Arrest made.
