Who’s in charge?
Are you happy, wealthy and wise, and if not, who or what has prevented you from achieving one or all of these? These attributes do not stand alone. Some wealthy people have achieved prosperity but either their health or happiness is sub-par. It states in the Bible that each one of us was made in the image and after the likeness of God, and we were to have dominion of the earth. Having dominion means that you and you alone are in charge. Basically, God put you here with all the laws of the Universe working towards the goal of being the best you that there can be. One vital law we need to keep in mind is the Law of Attraction.
There is nothing or nobody in your life that you, through your consciousness, didn’t attract to you. That includes your nosey neighbors and the irritating person in your office. When I first learned of this law, I was being introduced to the Science of Mind philosophy. I was counseling with the minister of the church. I was presenting my case of why I was unhappy and pretty much broke. I blamed my failed marriage and the job I hated for my plight in life. I saw little chance that anything would improve. As a matter of fact, I was close to suicidal. Through a series of questions and my responses the minister was able to see where I was coming from, and a way to steer me towards the knowledge of the Law of Attraction and how to use it.
Knowing and utilizing the Law of Attraction changed my life rapidly. So rapid that even my children thought I had changed too fast. I stopped blaming others or circumstances for my failures. I actually married the minister of the church and we were quite happy. I stayed with the job I formally hated and learned to love for thirtyfive years. I learned that as I love, I attract love right back. As I give, I cannot help, receiving. As I look to that which I desire instead of what I don’t, I will have my desire. This is the Science of Mind.
We are feeling and thinking individuals and citizens of the Universe. All good is before each one. Every opportunity is available at all times. No matter the situation or circumstances each one can take charge of their life and attract happiness, love and prosperity into their life. Too often we may focus on what we don’t want. Keep your mind on what you are aiming for and you will find the law works for you. Your gift from the Universe gives you the opportunity. It’s your job to take advantage of it.
Say to yourself, “The gift of God to me, enriches and enhances my life. The Law of Attraction responds to my thoughts and feelings of love, joy and sharing. I love and am loved. I rejoice and happiness abounds in my world. All things respond to me through my thoughts and deeds and I let love guide the way.
