Ongoing INYO COUNTY HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
Donations of new or gently used toys for children ages 0-18 and wrapping supplies (wrapping paper, tissue, ribbons, bows and gift bags) for the Inyo County Health and Human Services Public Health and Prevention Annual Holiday Toy Drive are welcomed through Dec. 15 at the Clint Quilter Consolidated Office Building located at 1360 N. GIFTS FOR SKILLED NURSING RESIDENTS

HOSPICE CHRISTMAS GIFT TREE RAFFLE
Raffle tickets to benefit Hospice of the Owens Valley are on sale now featuring a prize worth move than $1,200 from contributions from various local businesses. Participating businesses include Rainbow Pack Outfitters, Starbucks,Bishop Twin Theatre, Aerocycle, Sage to Summit, local grocery stores and more. The winner will be drawn on Dec. 19. SENIOR CENTER CANDY SALE
The Bishop Senior Center Recreation Committee will be selling See’s candy and homemade peanut brittle for the holidays. The See’s candy come in a wide assortment and there will also be peanut brittle available, made at the Senior Center, limited to four bags per customer; Monday Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bishop Senior Center, 682 Spruce St. (behind Bishop City Park). Cash or checks accepted (sorry, no credit cards). All proceeds go toward programs/activities at the Bishop Senior Center.
SENIOR CENTER GIFT WRAPPING
The Bishop Senior Center Recreation Committee’s annual Christmas gift-wrapping fundraiser provides complete wrapping services, including boxes, wrapping, bows, tags, etc. Drop off gifts, usually wrapped and ready for pickup the same day. Tuesday, Dec. 12 COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Inyo County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session at 10 a.m. with the agenda available at the county website, www.inyocounty. us. The meeting will be held in the Board Chambers at the County Administrative Center in Independence, 224 N. BISHOP CREEK CSD
The Bishop Creek Water Association will meet at 7 p.m. at the Inyo County Office of Education/Jill Kinmont Boothe School facility, 166 Grandview Drive, Bishop, in the George Lozito Conference Center (northwest conner of the property). The meeting will also be conducted via Zoom. Instructions for participation in the meeting can be found on the Association’s website (www.bishopcreekwater.org) with the meeting agenda. Wednesday, Dec. 13 NIH AUXILIARY
The Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary meet every Wednesday at the Hospital Annex 2759 Birch Street (enter at the Grandview Street Entrance) at 10 a.m. The second Wednesday of the month is a General Meeting. Other Wednesdays are devoted to making crafts for the annual Holiday Boutique. INYO COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ADVISORY BOARD
The Inyo County Behavioral Health Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Consolidated Office Building at 1360 North Main Street in Bishop. The board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the same time. The board seeks input to develop services and meet the needs of community members who have struggled with emotional and mental well-being. BUTTERMILK RESTROOMS OPENING
The Eastern Sierra Council of Governments will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Buttermilk public restrooms at noon to commemorate this regional partnership and investment in sustainable recreation and stewardship infrastructure. The ribbon cutting will be held at the installation location in the main parking lot of the Buttermilk Boulders. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
ESLT HOLIDAY MIXER

The Lone Pine Christmas Parade will be at 1 p.m. with a meet and greet with Santa Claus after the parade at VFW Post 8036, 481 S. Main St. Christmas tree lighting festivities follow at Spainhower Park.
