HOSPICE CHRISTMAS GIFT TREE RAFFLE
Raffle tickets to benefit Hospice of the Owens Valley are on sale now featuring a prize worth move than $1,200 from contributions from various local businesses. Participating businesses include Rainbow Pack Outfitters, Starbucks,Bishop Twin Theatre, Aerocycle, Sage to Summit, local grocery stores and more. The winner will be drawn on Dec. 19. SENIOR CENTER CANDY SALE
The Bishop Senior Center Recreation Committee will be selling See’s candy and homemade peanut brittle for the holidays. The See’s candy come in a wide assortment and there will also be peanut brittle available, made at the Senior Center, limited to four bags per customer; Monday Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bishop Senior Center, 682 Spruce St. (behind Bishop City Park). There will be raffles, a native-themed ornament contest, an ugly sweater contest, family crafts, and a visit from jolly ol’ St. Nick. Admission is free. LONE PINE CHRISTMAS PARADE
The Lone Pine Christmas Parade will be at 1 p.m. with a meet and greet with Santa Claus after the parade at VFW Post 8036, 481 S. Main St. Christmas tree lighting festivities follow at Spainhower Park.
FREE CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A free Christmas “sing-along-withyour-neighbors” concert will be at p.m. at the Highland’s Park Senior Center. All are welcome. Come enjoy the music of the season.
