Families who are in need of a holiday gift for their child or children can pick up a free present at the Clint Quilter Consolidat­ed Building, 1360 N. Main St., Bishop, or the Lone Pine Consolidat­ed Building 310 N. Jackson St., Lone Pine. The Lone Pine Toy Shop will be open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Dec. 18 and Dec. 19. HOSPICE CHRISTMAS GIFT TREE RAFFLE

Raffle tickets to benefit Hospice of the Owens Valley are on sale now featuring a prize worth move than $1,200 from contributi­ons from various local businesses. Participat­ing businesses include Rainbow Pack Outfitters, Starbucks,Bishop Twin Theatre, Aerocycle, Sage to Summit, local grocery stores and more. The winner will be drawn on Dec. 19. SENIOR CENTER CANDY SALE

The Bishop Senior Center Recreation Committee will be selling See’s candy and homemade peanut brittle for the holidays. The See’s candy come in a wide assortment and there will also be peanut brittle available, made at the Senior Center, limited to four bags per customer; Monday Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bishop Senior Center, 682 Spruce St. (behind Bishop City Park). Cash or checks accepted (sorry, no credit cards). All proceeds go toward programs/activities at the Bishop Senior Center.

Recreation Committee’s annual Christmas gift-wrapping fundraiser provides complete wrapping services, including boxes, wrapping, bows, tags, etc. Drop off gifts, usually wrapped and ready for pickup the same day. The Owens Valley Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center, 2300 W. Line St., Bishop, is hosting a holiday market, an indoor and outdoor arts and craft fair from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring hand-made craft items and baked goods made by local vendors. There will be raffles, a native-themed ornament contest, an ugly sweater contest, family crafts, and a visit from jolly ol’ St. Nick. Admission is free. SANTA AT ST. TIMOTHY’S ATTIC

Parents are invited to bring their children to meet Santa Claus and receive a special gift at St. Timothy’s Attic thrift store in the rear of the Elk’s parking lot on East Line Street in Bishop. Santa will be there from noon - 2 p.m.

LONE PINE CHRISTMAS PARADE

The Lone Pine Christmas Parade will be at 1 p.m. with a meet and greet with Santa Claus after the parade at VFW Post 8036, 481 S. Main St. Christmas tree lighting festivitie­s follow at Spainhower Park.

FREE CHRISTMAS CONCERT

A free Christmas “sing-along-withyour-neighbors” concert will be at p.m. at the Highland’s Park Senior Center. All are welcome. Come enjoy the music of the season.
