Ongoing SENIOR CENTER CANDY SALE
The Bishop Senior Center Recreation Committee will be selling See’s candy and homemade peanut brittle for the holidays. The See’s candy come in a wide assortment and there will also be peanut brittle available, made at the Senior Center, limited to four bags per customer; Monday Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bishop Senior Center, 682 Spruce St. (behind Bishop City Park). Cash or checks accepted (sorry, no credit cards). All proceeds go toward programs/activities at the Bishop Senior Center.

The Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary meet every Wednesday at the Hospital Annex 2759 Birch Street (enter at the Grandview Street Entrance) at 10 a.m. The second Wednesday of the month is a General Meeting. Other Wednesdays are devoted to making crafts for the annual Holiday Boutique. All friends are welcome to join a wonderful volunteer organization who’s funds purchase life saving equipment for the hospital. For more information, contact President Judy Fratella (760) 873-4059.

The Inyo County Board of Supervisors will host a strategic planning workshop at 9 a.m. in the Board Chambers, County Administrative Center, Independence. An online survey is now open for members of the public to provide information, ideas, and feedback on potential projects and which efforts should be prioritized, as the board of supervisors works to determine where resources should be focused over the next several years.
