(BISHOP SENIOR CENTER UPDATE – The Bishop Senior Center will continue to be closed for renovations through Feb. 26, 2024, and will continue to utilize the kitchen to provide home delivered meals to participants in the Bishop area.

During the closure, a Bishop Senior Center staff member will continue to be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Clint Quilter Building, 1360 N. Main St. in Bishop, to provide bus passes, phone support and other services normally provided at the Bishop Senior Center.

The Bishop Senior Center will continue to utilize the kitchen to provide home delivered meals. Individuals who attend congregate lunches at the Bishop Senior Center may sign up to receive a weekly delivery of frozen meals while the facility is closed. Congregate meal participants may request frozen meal delivery by calling (760) 873-5240 at any time during the facility closure.

Congregate members can always attend the Big Pine Town Hall or Statham Hall in Lone Pine while the center is closed, but please be sure to call (760) 873-5240 to RSVP.)
