TRI-VALLEY GROUNDWATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
Tri-Valley Groundwater Management District and its board of directors intends to a vacancy on its board by appointment at its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to be held at 123B Valley Road, Chalfant. This is an at large seat position. Persons interested in being considered for this appointment to the board must be a resident and owner of record of real property located within the district and must be a registered voter. Interested persons need to be willing to participate in monthly meetings involving groundwater issues within the district, come to meetings prepared to participate in agenda items, respond to emails from other directors, and be willing to accept additional assignments on occasion. The Southern Inyo Healthcare District Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. at 501 E. Locust Street in Lone Pine. A teleconference number will be available and the agenda will be available at www.sihd. org. The district encourages citizens to attend board meetings to stay updated on important community issues.
BIG PINE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION POTLUCK
The Big Pine Community Association will be hosting a potluck at the Big Pine Town Hall on Dewey Street starting at 5:30 p.m.; bring your favorite main or side dish to share. February is National Carrot Cake month, once again, BPCA will conduct their annual carrot cake competition. The festivities will continue with the announcement of the 2024 Big Pine Citizen of the Year. Two special honors will be presented this year to two outstanding Big Pine citizens. The regular Big Pine Community Association business meeting will then convene with community event announcements reports.
