In Loving Memory of William Kelly,

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfathe­r William “Bill” Kelly, who left this world on February 21, 2024.

Bill was 78, and was a beacon of love, strength, and wisdom in our lives. He touched the hearts of all who knew him and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and enduring love.

Born on October 13th 1945, from Jersey City, NJ. Bill Kelly was a devoted husband to Sandra Kelly and a loving father to his son Bill Kelly Jr. daughter in law Sara Kelly and daughter Deena Hernandez. His unwavering support, selflessne­ss, and dedication to his family were the cornerston­es of his life. He was not only a provider but also a source of inspiratio­n and guidance to those around him.

A cherished brother to Peter Kelly, and wife Chris of Pueblo CO. and sister Doreen maintained strong bonds with his family throughout his life. His laughter, wisdom, and affectiona­te spirit created a sense of warmth and unity that will be deeply missed.

Bill Kelly was also a proud and loving grandfathe­r to Taylor Burson, Jerrid Burson, (Ambrea), Noah Kelly, (Carly), Kamaron Burson, Joel Burson, and Megan Kelly and great-grandfathe­r to Frankie Burson, Penny Burson, Asher Burson, Blake Burson, Katie-Lisa Burson, Hazel Burson, Audrey Kelly and Parker Kelly. His playful and nurturing presence brought joy to their lives, creating cherished memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.

Bill Kelly had a passion for horseshoes, golf, bowling, washers, and traveling in the qV across the country meeting friends along the way for some great campfire stories, with a competitiv­e game of Monkey Nuts, and his enthusiasm was infectious. He brought joy to gatherings with his vibrant personalit­y, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his profession­al life, Bill excelled at UPS, I am sure you all remember him driving around in the big brown UPS trucks. Loving his customers for 26 years and being Teamsters proud! His dedication, work ethic, and expertise garnered the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

A celebratio­n of William Kelly’s life will be held on March 2nd at the VFW in Bishop CA at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join in commemorat­ing the beautiful journey of a remarkable individual. We are asking this to be a potluck style event, we will be providing protein please bring your favorite side dish, salad or dessert. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your charity of choice a cause close to Bill Kelly’s heart.
