Ongoing PLAYHOUSE 395’S “BYE BYE BIRDIE”

Playhouse 395’s upcoming spring production is the beloved musical, “Bye Bye Birdie” – a witty, humorous, and honest look at the generation­al difference­s between adults and teens in a loving send-up of the 1950s in smalltown America. Full of memorable characters, this comedy tells a hilarious, high-energy story accompanie­d by a familiar musical score that celebrates the beginnings of rock and roll. SIERRA CLASSIC THEATRE

The Sierra Classic Theatre presents “The Minutes,” from March 15 through March 30. The play takes place in real time at a small-town town council meeting so the play has been staged at the Town of Mammoth Lakes Offices, Ste. Z. ESLT FIELD TRIP

Join Eastern Sierra Land Trust from 2 - 4 p.m. for a free, educationa­l field trip about the iconic Round Valley Mule Deer Herd. This trip highlights the herd’s seasonal journey between winter valleys and summer mountain meadows, navigating through the challengin­g Swall Meadows passage. Led by CA Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist Dan Taylor, the trip offers insights into the deer’s migration, the conservati­on efforts in place, and the challenges faced. BIG PINE EASTER EGG ASSISTANCE

The Easter Bunny and the Big Pine Community Associatio­n are asking community members to bring individual­ly wrapped candy to stuff more than 1,000 plastic eggs for the Big Pine Community Easter Egg Hunt. The candy and egg stuffing will take place at the Tuesday, March 12 meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Big Pine Town Hall. The community Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Sunday, March 31 at NOON in Mendenhall Park.
