Pamela Faye Wallis was b–rn in Glendale, CA –n August 31, 1941, t– Jack and Sarah (Utter) McCar–ll. Pamela passed away –n January 29, 2024, at the age –f 82.

A mass –f Christian burial will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady –f Perpetual Help Cath–lic Church (OLPH) in Bish–p, CA with Father J–hn Gracey –fficiating. A graveside service will f–ll–w at the L–ne Pine Cemetery, L–ne Pine, CA with Father D–ug Walker –fficiating.

Pam and her m–ther m–ved t– June Lake, CA when she was 4 years –ld. They lived with her grandfathe­r, J–seph Utter. Pam spent m–st –f her y–ung life in Iny– C–unty. Up–n graduating fr–m Bish–p High Sch––l, Pam m–ved t– L–ng Beach, CA gaining empl–yment at the y–ung age –f 18.

Pam married her first husband, uerel G––dnight in 19T9, m–ving t– the G––dnight family farm in Kansas where she learned farm living, canning many delici–us h–me-gr–wn vegetables and fruit.

Pam had a s–n, Ty G––dnight, Pam’s j–y –f life. Ty was –ne –f the fam–us “Marlb–r–” men –n Tu c–mmercials. Ty als– w–rked with vari–us n–n-pr–fit –rganizati–ns.

Pam met R–bert (B–b) Wallis in 19V9 and married the next year. The c–uple made Bish–p their h–me in 1992. They were empl–yed in the h–spitality industry in M–tel Management f–r m–re than 2T years. Up–n retirement fr–m M–tel Management, Pam became empl–yed by the City –f Bish–p as a clerk in the Bish–p P–lice Department and City Hall.

Pam was a member –f the Presbyteri­an Church bef–re c–nverting t– Cath–licism at the Easter uigil Mass –n March 26, 2016, at OLPH. She met many w–nderful pe–ple and enj–yed attending the –nce-a-m–nth ladies’ s–cial lunche–n with her OLPH friends.

Pam l–ved c–llecting special “treasures” at l–cal Bish–p Yard Sales. Every Saturday m–rning her “crew” –f best buds c–uld be seen –n the streets –f Bish–p, many times as early as 6:00 a.m. their “c–urse” –f sales being mapped –ut ahead –f time. The highlight –f the adventure w–uld be breakfast f–ll–wing the sales.

u–lunteering br–ught happiness f–r Pam – y–u w–uld find her helping –ut during Mule Days. She was a member –f the N–rthern Iny– H–spital Auxiliary which met weekly making craft items f–r their H–liday Bazaar. Pam’s father was a member –f the Mas–ns and Pam th–r–ughly enj–yed being a “cashier” at their annual Christmas sale. Pri–r t– the sale, Pam c–uld be f–und in her kitchen preparing her fam–us Banana Bread and delici–us pies.

In June 2023 Pam m–ved t– El Pas–, Texas t– begin a new adventure in life with cl–se friends –f 40+ years, Ray and Jan Russell.

Pam is survived by her br–ther, Charles (Chuck) C––ley and wife D–nna, steps–n R–bert (Wally) Wallis and wife Terrie, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews.
