Ongoing PLAYHOUSE 395’S “BYE BYE BIRDIE”
Playhouse 395’s upcoming spring production is the beloved musical, “Bye Bye Birdie” – a witty, humorous, and honest look at the generational differences between adults and teens in a loving send-up of the 1950s in small-town America. Full of memorable characters, this comedy tells a hilarious, high-energy story accompanied by a familiar musical score that celebrates the beginnings of rock and roll. SIERRA CLASSIC THEATRE
The Sierra Classic Theatre presents “The Minutes,” through March 30. The play takes place in real time at a smalltown town council meeting so the play has been staged at the Town of Mammoth Lakes Offices, Ste. Z. FREE TAX HELP FEBRUARY THROUGH APRIL 15
The AARP Foundation Tax Aide programs in Bishop and Mammoth expanded opportunities in Bishop. Appointments are now being accepted for Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 4 p.m. Additionally as a result of the Library flood, the Mammoth site has moved to Fire Station No. 2 (next to Snowcreek Athletic Club) until the library reopens.

The Inyo County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session at 10 a.m. with the agenda available at the county website, www.inyocounty. us. Bishop Elementary School will be holding a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Round Up from 6 - 7 p.m. at 800 W. Elm St.., Bishop. INYO COUNTY SPELLING BEE
The annual Inyo County Spelling Bee competition will be at 5 p.m. at Jill Kinmont Boothe School, 166 Grandview Road, Bishop, in the Great Room. Competition will begin with the Elementary division for students in grades 4-6 followed by the Junior High division for grades 7-9.
