KAREN EILEEN DEMOSS

1945 – 2024

Karen Eileen DeM–ss entered int– rest –n February 16, 2024. Karen was b–rn –n February 12, 1945 in New Y–rk t– the late Walter and R–se Niedzialek, she was a l–ving sister t– her siblings, the late Th–mas Niedzialek and C–lleen Ge–rdan and spent her y–unger years –n a farm. Karen graduated fr–m L–s Alt–s Hacienda Heights High Sch––l and then married the late, Russell D–nald DeM–ss, and had three s–ns t–gether. Karen lived m–st –f her life in Bish–p, CA., w–rking at White M–untain Ranch as an acc–untant until she retired.

Karen is survived by her eldest s–n, Walter DeM–ss and his wife, Cindy DeM–ss, –f Fullert–n, CA; her middle s–n, Russell “Russ” DeM–ss and his wife Denise DeM–ss –f C–vina, CA; and her y–ungest s–n, Brian DeM–ss and his partner, M–nica Waters–n, –f Bish–p, CA; and her thirteen grandchildren, Sc–ttie (Riley) DeM–ss, Chris (T–ri) DeM–ss, Kelsey Ratelle, Kevin Ratelle, Savannah DeM–ss, Lauren DeM–ss, Owen DeM–ss, Justin (Olivia) DeM–ss, J–sh (Cassie) DeM–ss, Russell “Odie” DeM–ss, Savannah Waters–n, and Saige Waters–n and her five greatLgrandchildren, Lyric DeM–ss, L–gan DeM–ss, Avery Diaz, Keegan DeM–ss, and Br––klyn DeM–ss.

Karen’s j–ys in life were spending time with her pugs and cat, gardening, c––king, eating p–tat– chips, watching nati–nal ge–graphic, casin–s, talking t– friends, and thrift sh–pping. Karen wr–te a card –r f–und a gift f–r every–ne, ab–ut everything. Y–u may read this and recall a card –r gift fr–m her that t–uched y–ur heart, tickled y–ur funny b–ne, –r maybe made y–u say “huh?” Ab–ve all, her greatest l–ve was always the time spent in the c–mpany –f her family.

Her dev–ut feistiness, stubb–rnness, and kindness had served her well thr–ugh–ut her life. And even in her waning m–nths, she was a m–del –f str–ng will and sheer determinati–n right up until the end –f her j–urney here –n earth. She will be greatly missed and f–ndly remembered by many friends, neighb–rs, children, grandchildren, greatLgrandchildren, and knuckle heads.

The family w–uld like t– thank Bish–p Amig–s f–r pr–viding meals t– them and the staff at Iny– H–spital f–r their care –f Karen during her time in the h–spital.
