Ongoing SIERRA CLASSIC THEATRE

The Sierra Classic Theatre presents “The Minutes,” through March 30. The play takes place in real time at a smalltown town council meeting so the play has been staged at the Town of Mammoth Lakes Offices, Ste. Z. Easter See’s candy is available at the Nothern Inyo Healthcare District Auxiliary Gift Shop now through Saturday, March 30. The Gift Shop is open Tuesday-Thursday, from noon - 4 p.m.

FREE TAX HELP FEBRUARY THROUGH APRIL 15

The AARP Foundation Tax Aide programs in Bishop and Mammoth expanded opportunit­ies in Bishop. Appointmen­ts are now being accepted for Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 4 p.m. Additional­ly as a result of the Library flood, the Mammoth site has moved to Fire Station No. 2 (next to Snowcreek Athletic Club) until the library reopens.

The AARP Foundation Tax Aide programs in Bishop and Mammoth using IRS-certified volunteers prepare federal and state tax returns online without charge to low- and moderatein­come residents. Saturday, March 30 EASTER TOWN EGG HUNT

Several local churches and the Salvation Army will host an Easter egg hunt at Brown’s Town at 9 a.m. All are invited.

CDFW FISHING MEETING

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be holding an informal meet and greet to discuss fishing in the Eastern Sierra Nevada from 5-7 p.m. at the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fairground­s in the Tallman Building.. CDFW is looking forward to discussing fisheries management in Inyo and Mono counties, meeting fishing enthusiast­s and having an open dialogue about angling opportunit­ies.

PSALM 8 WORM RANCHER WORKSHOP BROWNS

A Psalm 8 Worm Rancher Workshop, in which participan­ts can learn all about raising garden worms, creating rich soil, have questions answered, and visit the Warm Store, will be from 1 - 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 205 N Fowler St., Bishop.

BIG PINE EASTER EGG HUNT

The Easter Bunny will be at Mendenhall Park in Big Pine at noon to supervise the annual Big Pine Easter Egg Hunt. Mrs. Bunny will hide more than 1,000 plastic eggs with toys, candy and money with the help of the Big Pine Community Associatio­n. This year there will be an addition of special prize eggs and Easter baskets. Come to Mendenhall Park on March 31 and have your family picture with the Easter Bunny.

Bishop Elks Lodge No. 1603 will have its Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Elks Park, 3301 W. Line St., Bishop, at 1 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event with hundreds of decorated and candyfille­d eggs as well as special prize eggs. Hot dogs and refreshmen­ts will be served.
