My dad dropped me during our dance!

During my aunt’s wedding, we decided to have an epic dance-off. I paired up with my dad because he has some cool moves and there was no doubt in my mind that we would win. We wanted to impress everyone, so he picked me up to lift me above his head and spin us around. But the second I was in the air, I knew something was off. I could feel him wobbling a bit as we spun. “Dad, put me down!” I yelled. The next thing I knew, I felt him slip and I came crashing down on the floor, landing on my butt. The DJ announced to all of the wedding guests, “Party foul!” and the photographer started taking a ton of pictures. I hid out by the chocolate fountain for the rest of the night! — MacKenzie, KY
