The singer recently admitted she had a seriously awkward money moment. “I went to H&M and my card got declined,” she shared. “Oh my days, pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified!” We have a feeling this was more an error on the bank’s part, and less to do with Adele’s spending. After all, she’s been open in the past about the importance of staying humble, no matter how much money she makes. “I don’t come from money and I’m not fussed by money,” she’s said in the past. “I like nice things now that I’ve got it, but I’d still be alive and healthy and a good person if I didn’t have money now.” Ugh, is there a single thing not to love about her?
