How Baby Ariel’s fans keep her strong:

“If I’m feeling down, they make me happy!

It’s safe to say that 2016 has been a breakout year for Baby Ariel. The 15-year-old Florida native took the social media world by storm as the most followed Muser on Musical.ly, then hit the road on DigiTour. But with instant success came her fair share of haters. Fortunately, Ariel has banded together with her fans to create the #ArielMovement, and she told J-14 about it!

From the very beginning, Ariel can remember having her feelings hurt online. “When I started social media, I was getting a lot of hate,” she recalls to J-14 exclusively. “It hurt me a lot when people would call me ugly or tell me the music I listen to was bad.” It dawned on Ariel that she probably wasn’t the only person dealing with such mean words, so that’s when she decided to start the #ArielMovement, a hashtag used to encourage confidence. “I want to remind my fans to stay confident and not worry about what others think,” she tells us. “I’ll tweet with the hashtag, or go in my DMs, and if they need help, I’ll be there for them!”

But what Ariel didn’t expect was to get that same help in return! “My supporters are super nice,” she smiles to J-14. “If I’m not happy, they’ll encourage me to be happy just like I encourage them to always stay happy. They’re always there for me.” Aww — sounds like the makings for a perfect friendship to us!
