Enjoy the sweet sounds of summer at July Jamz series

-

There’s nothing like that sweet sound of summer. We’d like to take this time to reflect upon one of the sweetest summer activities in Logan County and to say “thank you” to all who’ve made July Jamz a welcomed escape from the “dog days of summer.”

Now celebrating its 18th year, July Jamz has brought joy and music to our Friday nights. And like wine, the concert series has gotten better with the passing of time. The free concerts have brought the sweetness of music to our summer evenings and for this gift we are thankful.

We’ve witnessed July Jamz become a destination for both locals and visitors. We’ve experienced the eclectic mix of music from some of the best small groups in Colorado and we’ve come to depend on the concerts for a chance to unwind after a long week and reconnect with family and friends.

And so, we thank the Logan County Arts League for bringing the delightful music concerts to our community since 2003. We also thank the many sponsors whose financial contributions have made the concerts free to the public through the years. And we thank Logan County for hosting the July event at the beautiful courthouse lawn and gazebo.

We encourage our community to support this 18th year of July Jamz by thanking the Logan County Arts League, the sponsors and Logan County. But, more than that we encourage you to grab your lawn chair and join us for the four remaining concerts.

• July 8 – Juke Joint Cruisers

• July 15 – Dotsero

• July 22 – Hector Anchondo Band

• July 29 – The Abe Mac Band
