Laflins to present special Christmas show Dec. 20

Christian illusionists bring message about reason for the season

-

Internationally recognized Christian illusionists David and Teesha Laflin will be performing a special Christmas show at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. This will be a spectacular show featuring Christmas themed illusions set to Christmas music and there will be a message about the real reason for the season.

Since 2002, Sterling natives David and Teesha (Ballard) Laflin have inspired audiences all across the United States and in several foreign countries through their creative blend of both classic and cuttingedge illusions. Their programs have been featured at the NCAA Final Four, on TV, and at numerous conferences and conventions throughout the world.

More than simply entertainers, the Laflins are also gifted speakers. The show features spectacular illusions, incredible slight of hand, audience participation, lots of laughter, and much more. They are quick to point out that everything they do is simply an illusion. Only God can do real miracles.

On their website, David and Teesha say, “We help churches reach people who normally would never attend a church. Often, people simply have a misperception of what a church is. People may believe that a church is a place only for perfect people. The truth is that we, as churches, are full of imperfect people who love Jesus and are trying every day to love Him, each other and our communities better.”

This one-night-only show is free and open to the public and would be the perfect opportunity to invite friends and family to get into the Christmas spirit. A free-will offering will be received.
