2024 Election deadlines start next week

Deadlines next week for the 2024 Election Cycle:

• Jan. 2, 2024: Last day to affiliate with a major or minor party to run as a party candidate in the primary (either through nomination or petition). What this means is if you want to run as a candidate affiliated with a political party you must be registered with that party by this date.

• Jan. 2, 2024: Last day to register as unaffiliat­ed to access the ballot by petition as an unaffiliat­ed candidate. What this means is if you want to petition on the ballot as an unaffiliat­ed candidate, you must be registered as unaffiliat­ed by this date.

The 2024 Presidenti­al Primary Election will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

The 2024 State Primary will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

The 2024 General Election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

All elections will be an all-mail ballot delivery. All voters that are active eligible electors will be mailed a ballot to the address that is listed on voter registrati­on.

Please keep your voter registrati­on record up to date. If you have a question about your registrati­on status, please contact the Logan County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 970-522-1544 or baconp@ logancount­yco.gov or you can update your informatio­n online at www.govotecolo­rado.com.

REMEMBER: Logan County Drop Box can be used for Voted Ballots, Motor Vehicle Renewals or Tax Payments or any other correspond­ence that needs to get to a county office at the Courthouse.

Ballottrax is a free service for Logan County Voters that allows you to track the status of your ballot online, as well as receive messages by text, phone or email when your ballot has been sent to you and received by our Elections Division. Logan County voters may sign up at voteloganc­ounty.ballottrax.net

Clerk & Recorder/motor Vehicle Offices will be closed Jan. 1, 2024, so our employees can spend time with their families for the holidays!
