Edward Lee "Eddie" Breidenbach

January 26, 1957 - December 12, 2023

Edward "Eddie" Lee Breidenbach, 66, of Sterling, CO, passed away December 12, 2023 in Greeley, CO. A celebration of Eddie's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at

11:00 a.m. at Riverview Golf Course (300 N Riverview Rd., Sterling, CO 80751). Services will conclude at River view. Eddie was born January 26, 1957 in Sterling to Edward and Mary Ellen (Smith) Breidenbach. He grew up in Iliff on the family farm. Eddie started school at Iliff Elementary and continued there until Iliff combined with Crook School, and graduated from Caliche High School in 1975. He then went on to Northeastern Junior College until 1977. Ed met the love of his life Dee in 1992 and they were together for 31 years. She was his everything and she will dearly miss him. Eddie farmed with his brother Doug and Father Ed until he became the Full Time Rural Mail Carrier for the Iliff Colorado Post Office in 1996. He carried mail until he retired in 2011. During his retirement years he loved spending his time with Dee, friends, and family and talking to his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and golfing in his retirement years.

Eddie is survived by the love of his life Dee Hein of Sterling, CO, daughter Bridget (Jacob) Weintraub of San Diego, CA, daughter Kimberly (Ben) Powell of Hamlyn Terrace, New South Wales, Australia, grandchildren Ashlynn Breidenbach, Neil,

Opal, and Ruby Weintraub; Isabella, Lillan, and Ellysia Powell, sister Diana (Doug) Kaufman of Sterling, CO, sister

Barb (George) Schneider of Sterling, CO, brother Doug Breidenbach of Iliff,

CO, In-laws Jerry and Gwen Hein of Crook, CO, brother-in-law Norman (Pat) Hein of Shoreline, WA, brother-in-law Nick (Kristin) Hein of Littleton, CO, former spouse Deb Barton, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Eddie was proceeded in death by his son E.J. Breidenbach and his parents Edward and Mary Ellen.
