PFS Insurance Group
PFS Insurance began in 2001 in Johnstown, Colo. PFS now consists of 5 branches in Sterling, Yuma, Johnstown, Greenwood Village and Prescott, Ariz. Majority owner of PFS is Pinnacle Bancorp (the same company that owns Bank of Colorado and Pinnacle Banks).
Travis Mcconnel l started the Sterling branch in 2010 on his own. Kelly Baxter joined the company in 2011 as his account manager. Lisa Hoffman joined in 2013 as a second account manager. From then until the present Sterling branch has grown to a total of nine employees including: Travis Mcconnell, Kelly Baxter, Lisa Hoffman, Andrew Fritzler, Jessica Klinzmann, Amy Eisele, Mica Rausch, Brandon Barnes and Elaina White.
In 2010, PFS was located at 201 S. Third St. inside the Bank of Colorado. In 2012, when the Bank of Colorado moved to their current location PFS moved with them. PFS was in the bank until their move in 2019 when they purchased the old bank location and remodeled the building back at 201 S Third St. This location is now their permanent location for the Sterling branch.
PFS specializes in all types of insurance, including home, auto, business, farm and ranch, and crop. With a staff of around 65 employees across the 5 branches, PFS has account managers and agents that specialize in all aspects of the insurance industry. PFS still believes in deep customer service and will always have a real person answering the phone, along with a dedicated account manager and agent to every client that can be reached that will know your information. The client does not just go to a phone bank for customer service representatives.
