PEORIA - Carol Lynn (Corpron) Endres, 80, of Peoria, IL, was called home to the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 27, 2023. Her life was her faith; her husband, Roy; their four daughters; 15 grandchild­ren; and two foster grandchild­ren.

Carol was born on April 24, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated with an Elementary Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. While there, she met her husband, Roy, and he survives. They were married on July 16, 1966, and celebrated over 57 years together. She taught elementary school for six years in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois, as she followed her husband and his career.

Carol retired from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom and raise their four daughters. She taught her children the need and value of service through volunteeri­ng at the South Side Mission, at Peoria Christian School, which they all attended, and in the community through her involvemen­t in the Junior League of Peoria and Entre Nous. Faithfully attending church, she served by teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Her heart for evangelism prompted her to open her home for weekly clubs through Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Carol left a legacy of love to her four surviving daughters and their families. Her oldest daughter, Courtney of Gretna, NE, is married to Pastor Bruce Otto and they have three children, Maggie (21), Caroline (19) and Charlie (16); and foster children, Jonathan (15) and Mahleeya (11). Her second daughter, Paige of Glenview, IL, is married to Mike Collett and they have four children, Sam (20), Ally (18), Tad (16) and Nat (13). Her third daughter, Alyssa Altorfer of Dunlap, IL, has three children, Luke (22), Shane (19) and Lauren (17). Her youngest daughter, Brooke of Wheaton, IL, is married to Jeff Weston and they have five children, Leah (19), Jake (16), Hailey (14), Bridget (12) and Justin (11). She is also survived by her older brother, Gary Corpron, and his wife, Sandy, of Victoria, MN. Her brother, Neil Corpron, preceded her in death and is survived by his wife, Jan, who resides in Redding, CA.

A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later date in Naples, FL, at the Covenant Church of Naples, where she was a member.
