Instructions
Note: When you begin stitching, work the center stitches of the charted design 1" below the center of the fabric. This will allow the piece to be framed with additional unstitched “sky” above the uppermost stitches as shown. The fabric measurement in the Materials list includes this extra fabric.
Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Work 1/4 cross stitch where small symbols appear using two strands of floss.
Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss.
Work straight stitches for dried grass, barn doors and skate blades using one strand of floss.
Work french knots for pigs' eyes where appears using two strands 3371/45351 and wrapping floss around needle twice.
