Fabric: 14-count white Aida Banded Ornament #PFO-CT from Stoney Creek Collection Inc.

Materials:

Mill Hill Antique Seed Beads red #G03049; beading needle Stitch Count: 35H x 35W Design Size: 21/2" x 21/2"

Instructions: Stitch design on top half of ornament.

Cross stitch over one square using two strands of floss. When two colors are bracketed together, use one strand of floss and two strands of blending thread.

Backstitch over one square using one strand of floss.

Attach beads using one strand 321/9046 and a cross stitch.

Note: Model was embellished with a decorative button in place of the stitched zero; see Finishing Materials & Instructions.

Finishing Materials & Instructions

• Wreath with Windswept Bow button #5347 from Stoney Creek Collection Inc. (optional) • Craft glue Referring to photo, attach button with 701/227.

Place ornament facedown on table. Run a bead of craft glue along top back edge of ornament. Fold bottom of ornament to back side and firmly attach to glue, being sure to leave hanger exposed.

Allow to dry.
