Fabric:

Two 9"x 9" pieces 26-count white Etamin by Ubelhor from Nordic Needle Stitch Count: 30H x 30W Design Size: 21/ 3" x 21/ 3"

Instructions:

Work vertical and horizontal satin stitch using one strand 81090.

Cross stitch over two threads using one strand 81090.

Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss.

Using sharp embroidery scissors, cut fabric where red lines appear on chart. Carefully withdraw cut fabric threads.

Work woven bars (wb) with picot stitch using one strand B5200.

Work dove's eye/center web stitch using one strand B5200.

Stitch design on second piece of fabric.

Finishing Materials & Instructions

• Two 21/2" round half-dome buttons

#7348A from Nordic Needle • 1/4" red sequin trim • Fabric glue Trim stitched piece slightly larger than button. Center stitched piece over half-dome button. Fold excess fabric onto prongs to secure, checking that stitched design remains centered. Trim excess fabric on back of button. Snap back plate in place. Repeat with second stitched piece and button.

Using fabric glue, adhere buttons, wrong sides together. Glue sequin trim over seam between buttons, creating a loop at top for hanger. Weight ornaments with heavy objects while drying to ensure good contact.
