Work ver­ti­cal and hor­i­zon­tal satin stitch us­ing one strand 81090.

Cross stitch over two threads us­ing one strand 81090.

Back­stitch over two threads us­ing one strand of floss.

Us­ing sharp em­broi­dery scis­sors, cut fab­ric where red lines ap­pear on chart. Care­fully with­draw cut fab­ric threads.

Work wo­ven bars (wb) with pi­cot stitch us­ing one strand B5200.

Work dove's eye/cen­ter web stitch us­ing one strand B5200.

Stitch de­sign on sec­ond piece of fab­ric.

Fin­ish­ing Ma­te­ri­als & In­struc­tions

• Two 21/2" round half-dome but­tons

#7348A from Nordic Nee­dle • 1/4" red se­quin trim • Fab­ric glue Trim stitched piece slightly larger than but­ton. Cen­ter stitched piece over half-dome but­ton. Fold ex­cess fab­ric onto prongs to se­cure, check­ing that stitched de­sign re­mains cen­tered. Trim ex­cess fab­ric on back of but­ton. Snap back plate in place. Re­peat with sec­ond stitched piece and but­ton.

Us­ing fab­ric glue, ad­here but­tons, wrong sides to­gether. Glue se­quin trim over seam be­tween but­tons, cre­at­ing a loop at top for hanger. Weight or­na­ments with heavy ob­jects while dry­ing to en­sure good con­tact.
