Fabric: 9" x 11" piece 32-count antique lambswool linen from Wichelt Imports Inc. Stitch Count: 43H x 78W Design Size: 23/4" x 47/ 8"

Instructions: Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Work 3/4 cross stitch where small symbols appear using two strands of floss.

Backstitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Finishing Materials & Instructions • 81/2" x 11" piece gold glitter felt • 81/2" x 11" piece red sparkle felt • Coordinating gold braiding for trim

and hanger • Hot-glue gun Press stitched piece from reverse side, straightening as much as possible. Trim stitched piece to 1" from stitching on all sides.

Cut out piece of red felt 1/2" larger than the stitched piece on all sides. Hot-glue stitched piece onto red felt leaving the 1/2" border of red felt showing.

Cut out gold glitter felt 1/2" larger than the red piece. Center and hotglue the design piece onto the gold glitter felt.

Once dry, glue the gold braiding around the perimeter of the stitched piece following the contours of the shape.

Using the glued piece as a template, trace and cut out another piece of gold glitter felt for a backing piece; set aside.

Cut a 7" length of gold braid and glue onto the back of the finished piece for the hanger.

Hot-glue the backing piece onto the back to cover the ends of the hanger.
