Hands On Design

One of my favorite memories actually happened at Thanksgiving! My boys were home to celebrate the day, and I got them together to work on a craft project. Instead of eye rolls and dragging feet, they dove right in. They got down on the floor and went to work laying out the supplies. I loved watching each of them get into the design process. I was planning on using the garlandand-button project to decorate our new mantel (it was part of a remodeling project). I enjoyed the mantel decor all season—its beauty made even better by the special memory.
