Instructions:
Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Work 1/4 cross stitch where small symbols appear using two strands of floss.
Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss.
Finishing Materials & Instructions
• 5" hoop frame • Coordinating sewing thread • Self-adhesive felt • 1/8"-wide coordinating ribbon • Craft glue
Press stitched piece on reverse side, straightening as much as possible. Center stitched piece over inside hoop of hoop frame. Slide outer hoop around stitched piece and tighten screw. Note: The hoop frame may cover some stitches. Design was created to prevent gaps between the stitched piece and hoop frame.
Trim stitched piece, allowing enough linen for lacing. Lace linen across back of hoop using coordinating sewing thread. Create hanger from coordinating ribbon and sew to top back of linen.
Using hoop as a template, cut selfadhesive felt to same size. Apply selfadhesive felt over hoop, lacing and hanger. Tie another length of ribbon around screw to create bow and glue in place.
