What do all good witches drink on Halloween? A full-bodied witch’s brew made with magic beans, of course!

• Two 12" lengths 27- count antique white Celeste linen stitching band from Wichelt Imports Inc.*
• One skein each DMC® or Sullivans® USA six-strand embroidery floss*
• One spool Kreinik Fine Braid #8

Instructions: Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss or one strand of braid.
Backstitch over two threads using one strand floss or one strand braid.
Work straight stitch for stars using one strand of braid.
Finishing Materials & Instructions:
Magic Beans Mug Cozy: Hook-andloop tape or two 24" lengths 1/8" satin ribbon
Witch’s Brew Mug Cozy: Hookand-loop tape or two 30" lengths 1/8" organza ribbon.
Center design vertically on stitching band, 2" from one end of band. When stitching is complete, turn raw ends under by 1/4", then again by 1/2", and sew in place. Attach hook-and-loop tape to ends of band to overlap under mug handle.
In lieu of hook-and-loop, thread one 24" length of 1/8" satin ribbon through top and bottom of stitchband, overlap ends of band, and tie ribbon in bow under mug handle to hold band in place.
