Finishing Materials & Instructions
• 23/4" x 23/4" piece 1/4"-thick foam- core board • Flat-head pins • Coordinating decorative beads • Carpet thread
Press stitched piece from reverse side, straightening as much as possible. Trim stitched piece to 2" from stitching on all sides.
Center design on foam-core board. Carefully place on clean flat surface with stitching facedown. Neatly fold excess fabric to back of ornament, covering edges smoothly. Using the carpet thread, bind left- and right-hand edges together. Repeat with top and bottom edges.
Thread bead onto pin; stick pin through fabric into edge of ornament near top. Repeat to add beaded pins, evenly spaced, all around edges. Model was embellished by hot gluing to a pie server.
