Materials

• 9" x 9" piece 14- count white perforated paper by Mill Hill from Wichelt Imports Inc.* • One skein each DMC® or Sullivans®

USA six-strand embroidery floss • Size 24 tapestry needle Stitch Count: 15H x 15W (each charm) Design Size: 11/8" x 11/8" (each)

Instructio­ns:

Cross stitch over one square using two strands of floss.

Backstitch over one square using one strand of floss.

Work straight stitch using two strands of floss.

Work French knot using one strand of floss and wrapping floss around needle twice.

Finishing Materials & Instructio­ns

• 10" x 10" piece coordinati­ng fabric

• 4 (29mm x 25mm) gold wineglass charm rings

• Coordinati­ng beads

• Craft glue

• Large needle

Trim stitched piece to one square from stitching on all four sides of each stitched charm, using sharp embroidery scissors.

Using the trimmed stitched charms as templates, cut out four squares of coordinati­ng fabric to the same size. Glue to backs of stitched charms.

To insert charm rings, punch a hole in the area you want the charm ring to go through with a large needle first, so as to allow the charm to go through the fabric easily. Add beads as you desire to the rings before closing.
