six-strand embroidery floss

• One skein Classic Colorworks Hand

Dyed Cotton Floss

• One skein each Weeks Dye Works™

Hand Over Dyed Floss

• One spool Kreinik Very Fine Braid #4 • One skein Rainbow Gallery Treasure

Braid #4

• One package Mill Hill Seed Beads • Size 24 tapestry needle

• Beading needle

Instructio­ns

Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss or braid. Where small symbols appear, cross stitch over one thread using one strand of floss.

Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss or braid.

Work straight stitch using two strands floss for greenery on fireplace.

Work lazy daisy stitch for present bows using one strand of braid # 4.

Attach beads using coordinati­ng floss and 1/2 cross stitch.

Refer to photo throughout. Press stitched piece from reverse side, straighten­ing as much as possible.

Sew dog button below fireplace using coordinati­ng sewing thread.

Sew tiny stars to Christmas tree and small star to tree top using one strand 181.

Tie small bow using four strands of 002/ blanc; sew to top of red present.

Tie small bow from ribbon; glue to dog’s neck as shown. f
