USA six-strand embroidery floss

• Size 10 beading needle

Instructions
Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss.
Backstitch over two threads using two strands of floss.
Work straight stitch using two strands of floss.
Attach beads using a 1/2 cross stitch and two strands of floss as indicated below.
For tree area, attach all seed beads and crystal cathedral rondele beads using a 1/2 cross stitch and ecru/45000.
On packages and borders, use floss to match bead color: 797/45207 for royal blue, 367/45080 for Christmas green, 520/45117 for emerald, ecru/45002 for white and ice, 552/45124 for purple, 321/45062 for rich red, 3822/45419 for Victorian gold and 815/45217 for cranberry.
For royal blue small flat star, attach using one strand of 797/45207, going over each side of the star tip adjacent to hole.
For ruby very petite flat hearts, using two strands of ecru/45000, come up through the heart and then pick up one 42011 Victorian gold bead and return needle through heart to the back. This may be done simultaneously while attaching beads and treasures in that area.
Finishing Materials & Instructions
• 6" square foam- core board • Double-sided tape (optional)
• Mill Hill Holiday Red frame (GBFRM9) with 51/2" x 51/2" front opening from Wichelt Imports Inc.
• Glazier’s points
Gently stretch stitched piece over foam core board; secure fabric edges to back of board by lacing or using strong-hold double-sided tape.
Insert mounted piece into frame and secure in place using glazier’s points.
