Indecent assault
KEATING TWP. – At 3:03 p.m. on June 22, PSP Lewis Run received a report of an alleged indecent assault involving a juvenile victim at a location in Keating Township. The investigation is ongoing.
Disorderly conduct
LEWIS RUN BORO – At 12:56 a.m. on June 27, PSP Lewis Run received a call in regard to a property dispute at 11 Lewis Dr., Lewis Run Borough. Upon further investigation, the property owner, Barbara Slike, 51, of Lewis Run, was cited for disorderly conduct. The victim was listed as being Sharon Black, 60, of Lewis Run. Charges were filed through District Court 48-3-03.
Drug possession
ELDRED BORO – At 11:21 p.m. on June 18, PSP Lewis Run was dispatched to a possible overdose involving a female at 48 Main St., Eldred Borough. Upon arrival, the female was found to have smoked a large quantity of THC, becoming very impaired. Charges were subsequently filed against Harley Shelley, 26, of Eldred, through District Court 48-3-02.
Crash
LIBERTY TWP. – PSP Lewis Run reports investigating a crash at 2:58 p.m. on June 19 on SR 155 south of Carlson Lane in Liberty Township. According to PSP, this crash occurred as a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard operated by Randal J. White, 59, of Bradford, and a 2008 Honda CRV operated by Bruce R. Bosworth, 64, of Turtlepoint, were traveling south on SR 155 just north of the intersection with 2 Mile Road. White failed to notice Bosworth's Honda had come to a stop in front of him. White was unable to stop, striking the Honda at the 12 o'clock position. White sustained minor injuries and was transported from the scene by Port Allegany Area Ambulance. PSP were also assisted on scene by Port Allegany Volunteer Fire Department and Tuna Valley Towing.
Theft/crime by deception
WETMORE TWP. – At 1:30 p.m. on June 26, PSP Lewis Run were called to investigate a reported theft on S. Settlement Road in Wetmore Township. According to PSP, the victim, a 71-yearold Kane man, reported that a male claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House called to inform them that they were a sweepstakes winner. The male requested the victim pay a nominal fee via Vanilla Visa gifts and certified check to claim the prize. The investigation is currently ongoing. PSP would like to remind citizens receiving notification of sweepstakes wings to use caution when providing confidential information or money to collect winnings.
DUI
ANNIN TWP. – On June 26 at approximately 4:17 a.m., PSP Lewis Run Troopers were traveling south on SR 155. The troopers observed an ATV leaving the parking lot at Busty's and traveling north on the roadway of SR 155. A traffic stop was initiated. During the investigation, it was determined the driver, a 33-year-old Eldred man, was intoxicated, and the operator was arrested for driving under the influence. Charges will be filed through MDJ 48-302.
