Resolutions and Approvals of the Mckean County Board of Commissioners
Mckean County Board of Commissioners approved the American Recover Program funds provided to Bradford Friendship Table in the amount of $10,000 for Emergency Food Shortage Relieve which is to be spent on food.
At the July 26 Regular Board Meeting, the Commissioners approved the following Resolutions and Approvals:
• County Aid Application from Bradford Township for $8,532.76, as allocated, for 2022 Road Paving and Road Projects.
• County Aid Application from Kane Borough for $5,686.52, as allocated, to Encumber for future use.
• County Aid Application from Foster Township for $8,366.66, as allocated, for the purchase of Anti-skid for Winter Maintenance.
• County Aid Application from Smethport Borough for $2,906.60, as allocated, to Encumber for future use.
• County Aid Application from Corydon Township for $982.79, as allocated, for the project to be named.
• County Aid Application from Lafayette Township for $4,308.79, as allocated, for Paving Fairway Drive.
• County Aid Application from Mount Jewett Borough for $1,593.82, as allocated, for Winter Maintenance/snow Removal.
• County Aid Application from Wetmore Township for $4,624.24, as allocated, for Chip and Seal Project.
• County Aid Application from Hamlin Township for $2,148.25, as allocated for Winter Maintenance Material.
Contracts, Leases, and Purchase Agreements (Phase One Recovery Grants from America Recovery Program Funds) that were approved by the Board are:
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Bradford Regional Airport Authority in the amount of $50,000 for Local Match for State and Federal Aviation Projects.
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Eldred Senior Center in the amount of $5,696 for projects to increase attendance and enhance center appearance.
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Mckean Count Fair Association in the amount of $86,500 for a Master Plan, Engineering, Grange Building Renovation, and technology.
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Mckean County Historical Society in the amount of $17,000 for safety updates, security interactive tours, and collection preservation.
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Mckean County Industrial Development Council in the amount of $300,000 for a Revolving Loan Fund.
• Award of American Recovery Program funds to Port Allegany Senior Center – 50+ Club in the amount of $12,000 for a covered outdoor area with grill and seating, covered entrance, updated refrigerator, and a computer station.
The Board approved Repository Sales:
• Repository Sale of .38 acres on W. Washington Street, Bradford, Map No. 17-027-103, reputed owner Charles and Lilly Perlaky to a single bidder, Michael Reed for $250.
• Repository Sale of 81 William Street, Port Allegany, Map No. 04-012-301, reputed owner, Chad Mccalla to a single bidder, Crystal Smoker for $1,200
• Repository Sale of 275 South Avenue, Bradford, Map No. 02-021-212, reputed owner Michael
T. Kline with two bidders; Approved by School District and Municipality, Sufficient Home, LLC, in the amount of $250 and Crystal Smoker for the amount of $1,200. Sufficient Home, LLC’S bid was approved.
• Repository Sale of 116 Main Street, Mount Jewett, Map No. 13-006-214, reputed owner, Kevin L. Dienes to a single bidder John Hayduk for $400.
The Board approved a KOS (Karpinski’s Office Systems) Mainte-
nance Agreement for a copier for Recorder of Deeds from July 8, 2022, to July 8, 2023, to keep the current machine, for $300 per year.
DHS (Department of Human Services) Agreements approved by the Board of Commissioners are:
• CYS Agreement – Edmond Thomas Adolescent Center
• CYS Agreement – Taylor Diversion Program
• CYS Agreement - Community Specialists
• CYS Agreement – The Summit Academy

• MHID (Mental Health Intellectual Disability)– Martha Lloyd
