Intersection reviewed for safety
Wetmore Township Supervisors agreed to contact an engineer to obtain a quote for a proposed project from a resident at Tuesday's regular board meeting. The resident requested the intersection of state Route 6 and Old Smethport Road on the western section be reviewed for safety.
Under unfinished business, two questions were tabled: will the township allow private signs to be installed at the requesters' expense? Will the township install private signs if purchased by the requester?
A motion was made to have an executive session at the next scheduled meeting to discuss interviews for an additional road crew operator. All were in favor.
Kane Borough Manager Don Payne attended the meeting and commented on turnback money.
